WHAT I DO

SERVICES

Taking The Time...

Having spent over 18 years in the kitchen design and construction industry, one thing has become clear – what most clients really want, and value, is someone who will spend time with them.  They want someone to listen, to discuss their ideas, and to present them with options.  They want concepts and designs, and an end result that falls within their budget while achieving a space that they love.

I will share my expert knowledge with you – I know what can, and can’t, be done. I know what materials work, and I know how to get the most from your existing area.  But importantly, I know how to maximise your budget!  I will work with you to create a space that you will not only  be proud to show off to your friends and family, but will add value to your home.

And it’s not just a design service that I offer. We all know that renovating can be a stressful, and often overwhelming, process – I can help you out there too.  Once you have decided on your final design, you may need assistance in arranging tradespeople to turn your dream into a reality – I have access to all the trades and services necessary.  I can also oversee the whole project, from design to installation – chat to me about that option as well.

I am totally committed to you – and my job is not done until you are 100% happy.

Stage 4

Stages of planning

Stage 1

This is when I will meet you in your home to discuss the areas that you would like to renovate.  I will look at your existing space, chat about your ideas, your budget, materials, and I will introduce you to ideas you may not have thought or heard about.

A quote for the full design will be given to you if you choose to move to Stage 2.

Stage 2

If you wish to proceed to Stage 2, this is where I measure the areas we have discussed, or if this is a larger renovation project, I will go through  your architect plans/drawings.

Having agreed to the design quote provided in Stage 1, 50% of the quote will be invoiced at this point.

Stage 3

At this stage we will meet together to discuss my preliminary plans and 3D line drawings.

At this meeting we can chat further about any changes that you would like.

Stage 4

This will be our final meeting  to hand over the agreed plans.

You will receive a set of A3 printed plans, 3D line drawings and a material specification list that you can confidently take to any cabinet maker for quoting.

Further services are available for Heart of the Home Designs to obtain up to 3 quotes for you to consider

The remaining 50% fee will be invoiced at this meeting.

Further changes to plans after Stage 4 will be quoted as per additional changes.
